Entry Process

• First come, first served

• Registration opens at 6:00 PM sharp

• Scan QR code at the venue or complete the digital form

• Entry is only confirmed once payment is received

Entry Fee

$25 per producer

Capacity

Limited producer slots available. Entry closes once capacity is reached.

Prize Pot

Winner receives the Champion’s Pot (Amount depending on turnout) plus additional recognition and promotional features through The Beat Lounge Ltd.

Tech Check & Requirements

Required Storage

All beats must be submitted via USB flash drive only

Tech Check Deadline

All producers must complete file verification by 7:00 PM

Failure to complete tech check may result in disqualification or delay of entry.

Battle Format

Producers are randomly selected live for matchups. No pre-set brackets.

Round 1

• 1 beat

• 60 seconds playback

• No judge feedback

• No one-more rounds

Round 2

• 2 beats

• 60 seconds each

• Judges may begin comparative evaluation

Finals (Round 3)

• 2 beats

• 60 seconds each

• One-more rounds allowed

• Judge feedback permitted

Timing Rule

All producers must be ready when called. Failure to respond within 60 seconds results in automatic forfeiture of the round.

Judging Criteria

Judges evaluate each submission based on:

• Sound quality

• Originality

• Marketability

• Arrangement & structure  

• Energy & dynamics

• Crowd reaction

• Replay value

• Overall impact

All judge decisions are final.

Disqualification Rules

Immediate disqualification may occur for:

• Submitting beats not produced by you

• Playing stolen or unauthorized material

• Fully AI-generated beats (non-original compositions)

• Misrepresentation of ownership

• Disruptive or disrespectful behavior

• Interference with event flow or venue operations

Recording & Media Consent

This event will be professionally recorded.

By entering, participants acknowledge and consent that:

• Their performance may be recorded (audio and video)

• Content may be used for promotional purposes

• Footage may be distributed across Beat Lounge platforms and marketing materials

No ownership rights are transferred. All original music remains the property of the producer.

Beat Ownership & Rights

All submitted beats remain the full intellectual property of the producer.

The Beat Lounge Ltd. retains limited rights to:

• Record event performances

• Use clips for promotional content

• Feature artists and producers across media platforms

No publishing or copyright claims are made by The Beat Lounge Ltd.

Refund Policy

All entry fees are non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued for:

• No-shows

• Late arrival

• Disqualification

• Voluntary withdrawal

Refunds are only issued if the event is officially canceled.

Judge Authority

Judges are selected based on experience in:

• Music production

• Artist development

• Industry scouting and A&R

All decisions are final and not subject to dispute during or after the event.

Scheduling & Event Flow

The Beat Lounge Ltd. reserves the right to:

• Adjust timing for event flow

• Modify round structure if needed

• Ensure smooth execution of all battles

Participants must remain available and attentive throughout the event window.

Conduct & Brand Integrity

Participants agree not to:

• Defame or misrepresent The Beat Lounge Ltd.

• Disrupt event branding or messaging

• Engage in harassment or misconduct

Violations may result in:

• Immediate removal from event

• Permanent ban from future events

• Exclusion from Beat Lounge platforms and opportunities

Champion Recognition

The winner of the April 25 Beat Battle will receive:

• Champion’s Pot payout

• Official Beat Lounge Champion title

• Featured promotion across Beat Lounge platforms

• Priority entry into future events and showcases

Final Authority Clause

The Beat Lounge Ltd. reserves the right to:

• Modify rules for fairness and event integrity

• Make real-time operational decisions

• Resolve disputes at its sole discretion

• Ensure safety, structure, and professionalism of the event
