April 25 Beat Battle: Official Rules & Prep

The Foundation

The Beat Lounge Ltd. is more than a competition—it’s a Gallery for Sound. We provide the platform; you provide the heat. On April 25th, 20 producers will enter the bracket, but only one will leave with the Champion’s Cut.

If you’re a producer looking to be discovered or an artist looking for your next hit, this is the hub.

1. The Registration Protocol

Capacity: 20 Producer Slots.
The Clock: Registration opens at 6:00 PM SHARP.
The Rule: First Come, First Served. Scan the QR code at the door (or use the form below) to timestamp your entry. Your slot is only secured once the $25 Entry Fee is paid to the Registrar.
The Payout: The winner takes home the Champion's Pot (estimated $250–$300 based on a full bracket), with the remainder reinvested into the TBL infrastructure and media coverage.

2. Technical Requirements

Format: All beats MUST be on a physical USB drive.
File Type: .WAV or 320kbps .MP3 only.
No Cloud: We will not accept Google Drive, Dropbox, or phone playback.
Tech Check: Every producer must pass a file-check at the Loading Station before 7:00 PM.

3. The Battle Logic

Rounds: 60-second "Sudden Death" matches.
The Bucket: Names are drawn live on stage. No pre-set brackets.
The Hard Stop: The event concludes at 10:45 PM. We move fast—be ready when your name is called.

4. Community Etiquette

Networking: The hour between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM is for the "Hub." Connect, exchange info, and build.
Respect: We are guests at Timeless Recording Studio. Any unsportsmanlike conduct results in an immediate escort from the premises and a permanent ban from TBL events.
